What we store, who can see it, and what we never do with it. Specific rather than general, because a privacy policy you cannot check is not worth much.

When you report an acknowledgment date, that pair of dates becomes public. Your submission date and your AOR date appear on the tracker and feed the queue calculation that everyone sees. That is the whole point of the tool, so it is worth being clear about.
Your name is never part of that. It is not attached to a report, not published, and not stored anywhere the public can read.
Your name and your own application records are visible only to you and to an administrator. That is enforced by row-level security rules in the database itself, not only by the website, so a bug in the site cannot expose them.
No advertising. No selling or sharing of personal information. No third-party trackers beyond the page-view analytics described above.
We have no relationship with IRCC or with any provincial nominee program, and we send them nothing. Reporting a date here does not tell IRCC anything and has no effect on your application.
You can use the estimator without an account, and you never have to give your name. The estimator does ask for your province and whether you applied from inside or outside Canada, and you can decline to name your stream. None of the three changes your estimate by a single day; the submission date alone decides that. They are collected to show who the tool is reaching.
You can ask for your account and everything attached to it to be deleted. Reports already counted in past queue measurements cannot be retracted from those historical figures, but the dates stop being linked to you.
